Helena Read
Trustee
Helena has had a career in state secondary schools teaching history and anthropology, mostly in the South East. She has held wide ranging leadership positions, including Head of Post 16 Education and Safeguarding lead. Helena also had a spell as an HMI working for Ofsted.
Helena's main areas of interest lie in support for disadvantaged pupils and raising aspirations, particularly for those in economically disadvantaged areas. Helena joined Skinners Academies Trust as a Trustee in 2025 and is the SEND lead Trustee.
